This is what F.A. shared three years ago about a program I offered at the time, as she was thoughtfully exploring what she wanted next.

My Optimal Self-Care 90-Day program with Donna allowed me time and space to re-evaluate my health and life goals, and consider the intention and thought behind everyday actions that impact me physically, mentally, spiritually. Donna was a mindful leader when it came to our one-on-one weekly meetings; our sessions started off with a very simple question, "What went well for you this week?" This question has had an enormous impact in my day to day life - as my health coach, Donna consistently and frequently reminded me of all that was going well for me and to practice gratitude as a first step towards healing and wellness.

I think like myself, many people get so used to the daily grind of life, between work and family, friends and home keeping, it can all add up to too much so quickly, and yet we can ignore our need to breathe, be still, and calm. I am not someone who finds quiet meditation easy to do, it is often hard for me to quiet the thoughts in my mind. Donna's calm voice and gentle push at the beginning of our sessions allowed me space to sit back and focus on my breathing - another habit I have incorporated into my daily life since her coaching. Telling her about my week's positive moments uplifted me even more; she made me feel proud of the little steps I was taking towards bettering myself.

My health goals are to become healthy within and strong physically and mentally to sustain what I hope to be a long life. As someone who has struggled to maintain a consistent weight and is easily affected by my emotions, I needed help in overcoming conflicting thoughts in my head, such as "Is it self-care if I am unhappy with my body?" and "I had a low day today, I wish to eat my emotions, that's self-care, right?" Donna walked me through such thoughts and habits to help me understand where they rooted from and what place they had in working towards my goals. She taught me grace and patience towards myself when I did find myself conflicted, and she helped me understand that although I may have frustrations with my body from time to time, my health journey is indeed a journey, and one that I could not do without positive reaffirmation to myself and without reflection.

I learned these lessons during the 90-Day program, and I am continuing my journey, reminding myself of the things going well in my life and stopping myself before a potential impulsive decision to ask why. Donna's coaching was something that I did not know I needed to help me conquer a challenging chapter in my life and start a new one with more patience, love, grace, and forgiveness towards myself. I'd recommend her and her style of coaching for anyone looking to learn to conquer thought and practice in action, someone who may not understand why they do certain things that may not benefit their health goals and want to conquer that, someone that needs that extra boost in confidence for the things they may already be doing that are positive and healthy!

What I am sure about is they will most certainly appreciate Donna's patience, her accountability towards you and your goals, as well as keeping you accountable, for we must show up for ourselves and those who are counting on us. I came out of this program a more lighter and appreciative person, a woman more intune with the needs of her body and who is making conscious effort into separating emotion from physical needs, and someone who views food as nutritious fuel for a body I am continuing to keep strong. I am certain that those who work with Donna will benefit from her coaching and her consistent inspiration - she is here for YOU!
